Web Developer

Join our team as a front-end developer and contribute your expertise to new and existing projects.

  • Job Title: Mid-Level Front-End Developer

As a Mid-Level Front-End Developer, you will:

  1. Develop Responsive UIs: Translate complex UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, reusable, and responsive code using modern HTML, CSS (Tailwind/Sass), and JavaScript frameworks.
  2. Framework Mastery: Implement and maintain client-side applications primarily using React.js (or Angular, based on project needs), ensuring maximum performance across all devices.
  3. Collaborate on Strategy: Work closely with Back-End Engineers, UI/UX Designers, and Digital Strategy Consultants to define technical architecture and ensure successful project integration.
  4. Optimize Performance: Identify and address bottlenecks, fix bugs, and optimize code for speed and scalability (e.g., fast loading times, CLS avoidance).
  5. Maintain Code Quality: Write well-documented, clean, and maintainable code, actively participating in code reviews and adhering to Glimpse Solutions’ best practices.
  6. Stay Current: Continuously research and implement new front-end technologies and tools to enhance the development process and product quality.
  7. Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior developers or participants in the Glimpse Academy Bootcamps

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

  • Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in front-end web development in a production environment.
  • Technical Skills (Must-Haves): Expert proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3. Proven experience with a modern framework, preferably React or Vue.
  • Styling & Design: Strong knowledge of responsive design principles and hands-on experience with utility-first CSS (like Tailwind CSS) or CSS preprocessors (Sass/Less).
  • Tooling: Familiarity with build tools (Webpack/Vite), version control (Git/GitHub), and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of finding “unrestricted solutions” to development challenges.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
